The inspiration for this illustration comes from when Usagi first transformed into a princess and her tears turned into silver crystal. This piece depicts the process of the tears slowing falling and transforming into the crystal.
It was made using embossed colored paper and dual-tone layser stamping. The effect is truly stunning.
